Fresenius Kidney Care in Kinston, NC is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP 1). You will perform nursing duties under supervision, assess and document patient data during hemodialysis, and coordinate care with the care team.

The role requires a nursing degree, state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 9 months of RN experience with 3 months in nephrology/hemodialysis.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current appropriate state RN licensure.
  • Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Minimum 9 months experience as an RN.
  • Minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document patient data during hemodialysis and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about care and treatment.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effects.
  • Provide safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy and respond to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and supervise/mentor other staff as assigned.
