Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level RN for the Outpatient CAP track within the Clinical Advancement Program. This role involves assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients, with potential delegation to RN, LVN/LPN and Patient Care Technicians as needed.

You will perform data collection during hemodialysis, adjust care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes and safe dialysis

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current or in progress.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in the medical record.
• Coordinate and deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Delegate tasks to direct care staff when appropriate and under supervision.
• Participate in staff training, orientation and quality improvement activities.
