Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level registered nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective delivery of treatment.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease care team, you will engage in education, leadership functions, and quality improvement activities while completing CAP requirements to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the employed state.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Coordinate care with RN, LVN/LPN, and Patient Care Technicians.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Provide education to patients and family.
• Ensure accurate lab collection, processing and shipping.
