Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for a group of dialysis patients within a multi-disciplinary ESKD team.

The role includes assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation, with opportunities for teaching, leadership development, and quality improvement activities. CAP requirements must be completed to advance within the program.

Qualifications

• RN license in the appropriate state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform algorithms.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective therapy.
