Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN CAP 1) to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis treatment and document in the patient medical record.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated and communicate with care team as needed.
• Educate patients and families about learning needs and treatment modalities.
• Provide safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with emergency response measures and staff training as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
