Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP path. You will collaborate with the End Stage Kidney Disease care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during hemodialysis sessions, while guiding other staff and coordinating with supervisors and physicians.

The role focuses on data collection, patient education, safe therapy delivery, and adherence to policies. Training for CAP advancement is provided as part of career development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Dialysis experience is preferred but entry-level acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision and guidance from leadership.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and care.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications per approved protocols and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency response and staff training as needed.
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing and timely documentation.
