Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 track. You will coordinate patient care during hemodialysis, assess and adjust plans with supervision, and educate patients and families on treatment options as part of the Clinical Advancement Program.

Responsibilities include safe delivery of therapy, emergency response, and collaboration with the care team to improve outcomes. Relocation may be required to reach training sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Perform nursing duties under supervision with guidance from Educator, Preceptor, or other RNs.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and transplant options.
• Direct and participate in safe delivery of hemodialysis therapy with care team.
• Initiate or assist with emergency response measures.
• Participate in staff training and orientation as assigned.
