Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP pathway in a dialysis setting. This role supports assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients within the ESKD care team.

You will collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, participate in teaching and quality improvement, and help coordinate care across the unit. The position requires an accredited nursing education and active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential functions under supervision and guidance of clinical educators and supervisors.
• Collect and analyze patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis and document in medical records.
• Adjust treatment plan as indicated and notify relevant leaders.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and care plans.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with collaboration from care staff.
• Administer medications as prescribed with documentation of justification and effectiveness.
• Participate in emergency response measures and staff training.
