Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and RN licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet the state practice requirements.
• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties under supervision of the Supervisor and Clinical Educator.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family to provide education.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis care to assigned patients.
• Administers medications as prescribed and initiates emergency response when needed.
