Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an experienced RN CAP2 for outpatient dialysis care. The role includes assessing patients, planning care, and coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

The RN CAP2 provides education, collaborates with the nephrology team, and helps supervise patient care staff as needed. A nursing license and BLS certification are required, with dialysis experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data during hemodialysis and document in medical records.
• Direct and provide safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy for assigned patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms and document justification and effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, self-care, and safety.
