Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Westlake, OH is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care with assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for dialysis patients.

Qualifications

• RN with nephrology nursing experience (entry level CAP)
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred but not required for hire
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; valid state license; CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing duties under supervision and guidance
• Assess and document patient data during dialysis; adjust plan as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Administer medications as prescribed; follow approved protocols
• Provide rapid response in emergencies; collaborate with interdisciplinary team
• Supervise/mentor Patient Care Technicians and junior staff as assigned
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing, and documentation

Skills

Nephrology nursing experience
