Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. The role focuses on providing and coordinating clinically competent care for patients undergoing hemodialysis in an outpatient setting.

The RN will collect data, adjust care plans, educate patients, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Requires RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification in the applicable state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the employed state.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during outpatient dialysis.
• Collect and document patient data before, during, and after hemodialysis and adjust care plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care requirements and treatment options.
• Deliver dialysis therapy safely under supervision and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
