Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group. Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to improve outcomes.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, you may delegate tasks, participate in training, and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient data collection pre, during, and post hemodialysis, document in medical record.
• Educate patients and families on care plans.
• Administer medications per protocol and monitor effectiveness.
• Coordinate with care team and participate in staff training.
