Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of hospital or clinical scheduling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedules patient appointments and completes scheduling process in a timely manner.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
• Checks diagnoses for Medicare compliance.
• Instructs patients regarding pre-procedure preparations.
• Maintains files and answers phone calls and handles faxes.
• Coordinates with office staff to relay test results requests.
