• Associate’s degree or higher in an AHIMA-accredited program or equivalent experience.
• One year of relevant outpatient coding experience or completion of the Houston Methodist Coding Apprentice Program.
• Must hold one of the listed professional certifications (RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCA, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-H, CPC-I, CPC-A, CCC, COC).
