Job summary

Intermountain Health St. Mary\'s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is launching a new outpatient pharmacy and seeks an Outpatient Clinical Pharmacist to support daily operations and help shape workflows and patient care standards.

You will partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, seamless patient care and to improve processes in a growing program. Qualifications include PharmD and active license; schedule is PRN, Monday–Friday, with no weekends

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy or PharmD with active pharmacist license.
Current knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Reviews patients' medication orders for allergies, interactions, and appropriateness; provides evidence-based interventions.
Oversees medication preparation and ensures timely delivery to care areas; maintains secure storage and workflow.
Provides patient counseling and promotes medication education and adherence; ensures respectful, high-quality service.
Supervises interns and technicians; offers clinical consultation to other health professionals.
Takes initiative to resolve equipment, maintenance, drug availability, staffing, and patient care concerns.
Identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve patient satisfaction; participates in departmental meetings.
