Job summary

Intermountain Health is launching a new outpatient pharmacy at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. We seek an outpatient clinical pharmacist to support daily operations, shape workflows, and deliver patient-centered care in a growing program.

You will partner with the Pharmacy Manager, pharmacists, and technicians to ensure safe, seamless care and contribute to developing effective processes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• License to practice pharmacy in the state of practice and dispense controlled substances.
• Current knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding the practice of pharmacy.
• Effective communication, people management, and project management skills.
• Immunization certification if applicable to practice site needs

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medication orders for interactions and appropriateness to optimize use.
• Ensure safe, timely dispensing and cost-effective therapies.
• Counsel patients and provide medication education and adherence support.
• Supervise interns, technicians, and staff; provide clinical consultation as needed.
• Solve problems regarding equipment, maintenance, drug availability, staffing, and patient care.
