Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar role within the Trust and knowledge of Outpatient processes would be particularly advantageous, although full in-depth training will be provided as part of our local induction programme.

Responsibilities

• Referral management – use of PCS & the NHS e-Referral system
• Scheduling of outpatient appointments
• Management of waiting lists
• Monitoring the Telephone Reminder Service (TRS)
• Managing Referral to Treatment (RTT) patient pathways in line with Trust targets
• Monitor New and Follow up appointments
• Reviewing clinic slot utilisation
• Amending clinical activity in line with Rota
