University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Pathway Co-ordinator (Waiting list) to join our outpatient team. You will manage patient queries, coordinate clinics, and assist with capacity planning in a busy outpatient environment.

The role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive NHS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy outpatient environment or call handling experience.
• Strong communication and liaison skills with colleagues and patients.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Dealing with patient queries face to face and by telephone.
• Clinic preparation including chasing patient scans and escalation as needed.
• Booking patient appointments and managing capacity issues.
• Managing emails from the generic inbox.
• Provide cover for the team leader when required.
• Liaise with consultants, nurses, and other outpatient staff.
• Follow up on missing clinic outcomes.
