• Interventional Radiology Only: 1 year Imaging Scheduling Specialist Lead experience at Hoag.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tests and treatments across multiple departments and specialties.
• Verify insurance, assist with pre-authorization, and liaise between pre-authorization team, physician office and patient.
• Provide updates to patient and doctors on timing and status of authorizations and potential delays.
• Provide patient itineraries, assist with referrals, link families to resources, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Lead daily operations of the Outpatient Care Coordinating team and oversee training and resources for care coordination.
