Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist IV to provide outpatient behavioral health services to people of all ages. You will conduct interviews, diagnose using DSM criteria, and deliver individual, group, and family therapy with person-centered approaches.

The role requires a Masters in Human Services and licensure eligibility across LCMHC-A, LCSW-A, LMFT-A, or LPA, with 40-hour weeks and on-site work across communities in NC.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Human Services is required.
• Licensed or eligible for North Carolina licensure (LCMHC-A, LCSW-A, LMFT-A, LPA).
• Schedule typically Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm; full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families.
• Perform interviews, assess mental status, and assign DSM diagnoses.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using person-centered approaches.
• Assess psychiatric crises and coordinate with psychiatrists when needed.
• Maintain medical records in compliance with regulations and agency policies.
• Coordinate referrals to outside services and support confidentiality.
• Offer crisis stabilization, and provide after-hours on-call coverage as required.
• Remain current with licensure requirements and participate in trainings.
