Job summary

Monarch Healthcare seeks an experienced Behavioral Health Therapist to provide outpatient services for clients of all ages, guiding healing journeys with empathy and evidence-based approaches.

Role requires NC licensure paths (LCSW-A, LMFT-A, LCMHC-A, LPA, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, LP) and a Master’s in Human Services. Monday–Friday, 40 hours; base pay starts at $55k for Associates and $65k for Fully Licensed, plus a sign-on bonus. Training and growth are supported.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Human Services required.
• North Carolina licenses: LCSW-A, LMFT-A, LCMHC-A, LPA, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC, LP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with individuals and families to identify problems, assess mental status, and determine diagnoses.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients of all ages using person-centered approaches.
• Assess psychiatric crises and coordinate with psychiatrists for crisis intervention.
• Maintain medical records per state/federal guidelines and confidentiality standards.
• Refer clients to outside services and coordinate care to ensure safety and appropriate support.
• Provide crisis assessment, stabilization, and care coordination to minimize exposure to higher levels of care.
• Provide after-hours coverage and on-call support as needed.
• Maintain licensure and participate in ongoing trainings to stay current with best practices.
• Build positive relationships with communities, agencies, and funding sources.
