Job summary

Monarch Healthcare in North Carolina is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist V to provide outpatient behavioral health services for all ages in a hybrid setting. The role requires a Master’s in Human Services and relevant licensure.

The position includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus and on-call coverage as needed. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, delivering individual/group/family therapy, crises assessment, and coordination with communities and agencies.

Qualifications

• Masters in Human Services is required.
• Licenses/certifications required: LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPA.
• Experience in counseling/therapy is not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews to identify problems, assess mental status, and formulate diagnoses.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy across all ages.
• Assess psychiatric crises and coordinate with psychiatrists.
• Maintain medical records per state/federal guidelines.
• Refer clients to outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide crisis stabilization and service coordination to de-escalate crises.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
• Travel to community locations for outreach and services.
