Job summary

Monarch is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist, Child Crisis, to provide behavioral health and substance abuse services to youth and families in crisis settings at our Concord, NC location.

The role requires a Masters degree and licensure or licensure-eligible credentials (LCAS-A, LCMHC-A, LCSW-A, LMFT-A). You will conduct assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and supporting discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required.
• 1 year minimum experience in crisis settings with children/youth.
• 2 years experience with youth and families with mental health or substance use disorders.
• Post-graduate experience with youth and families in mental health or substance use is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for individuals in crisis and ensure smooth transition to community care.
• Participate in team meetings, care planning, and discharge planning for all individuals served.
• Provide crisis intervention and clinical support to non-licensed staff.
• Conduct interviews and assessments to determine diagnoses and plan interventions.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using person-centered approaches.
• Maintain medical records in compliance with guidelines and confidentiality standards.
• Coordinate with outside agencies for post-discharge support.
