Job summary

IHA is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our integrated care team in southeast Michigan. This role provides outpatient behavioral health services, including assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based psychotherapy, collaborating with primary care and specialty providers to promote whole-person care.

Required are a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and Michigan licensure, with a minimum of two years of psychotherapy experience.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field from an accredited program.
• Active licensure in Michigan (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LP, or LLP) per requirements.
• Minimum of two years of psychotherapy or behavioral health experience.
• Experience in outpatient/ambulatory or integrated care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and evidence-based interventions.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Deliver crisis assessment, intervention, and safety planning as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other providers via EHR and team discussions.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with policies.
