Job summary

IHA in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our integrated care team. This outpatient role delivers psychotherapy to patients with mental health concerns, emotional distress, and psychosocial challenges, collaborating with primary care and specialists to support whole-person care.

The position offers flexible scheduling with part-time to full-time openings across Rochester Hills, Canton, Ann Arbor, West Arbor, Chelsea, and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Michigan licenses: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LP, or LLP (if supervision requirements are met).
• Minimum of two years of psychotherapy or behavioral health experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and mental health screenings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and evidence-based interventions.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams; coordinate referrals and transitions of care.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and billing systems.
• Deliver crisis assessment, intervention, and safety planning as needed.
• Support ongoing professional licensure and participate in supervision or training as assigned.
