Job summary

IHA in Michigan seeks a compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to provide outpatient services across multiple southeast Michigan locations. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based psychotherapy within an integrated care team.

The position supports collaboration with primary care providers, requires licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/LP/LLP), a Master’s degree, and at least two years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a qualifying behavioral health field.
• Two+ years of psychotherapy or behavioral health experience.
• Licensure in Michigan (LMSW / LCSW / LPC / LP / LLP).
• Experience in outpatient/integrated care is preferred.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities

• Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and mental health screenings.
• Psychotherapy & Clinical Interventions: Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Integrated Care Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to coordinate care.
• Documentation & Professional Responsibilities: Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation.
