Job summary

Hartgrove Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Program Coordinator to support our outpatient services in Oak Park and Chicago. The role involves front-end reception, scheduling, insurance verification, billing support, and maintaining clinic organization.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: 1-3 years admin experience; healthcare scheduling or billing preferred.
Licensure/Certification: None.
Knowledge: Excellent communication, professionalism, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask across systems, bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

Handle front-end administrative duties in outpatient clinic (phone, scheduling, emails, provider schedules, billing ledgers).
Verify patient insurance and communicate benefits to patients/families/providers.
Submit daily appointment/outcome reports to business office for billing.
Maintain organization of outpatient clinics (filing, records, supplies, payroll submissions).
Provide exceptional customer service by phone and in person.
