This role supports daily patient-facing operations, front desk management, scheduling, and administrative/insurance activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, patient-focused, and comfortable in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office, healthcare administration, or patient service role preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
• Proficiency using EMR systems; EPIC experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound patient calls, respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
• Confirm appointment details and communicate related information.
• Manage patient check-in/check-out processes.
• Collect copays and verify insurance information.
• Obtain referrals and prior authorizations as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Communicate wait times and patient flow Updates to patients and staff.
