Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.

Responsibilities

• Check in and check out patients according to Scheduling/Registration guidelines, prioritizing according to patient needs.
• Obtain and verify patient guarantor information at least annually and generate referrals when needed.
• Schedule and register patients based on guidelines and clinic appropriateness.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and testing at check-out.
• Communicate scheduling changes promptly to patients and staff; resolve issues as needed.
• Collect time-of-service payments and copayments during check-in/out; reconcile cash drawer at end of day.
