Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a licensed therapist (LISW, LPC, or LMFT) to join the Addiction Sciences Division’s Outpatient Clinic. You will provide individual and group therapy for clients with addiction-related and other psychiatric conditions, working in a team environment.

Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in social work or social welfare, and SC licensure. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by CSWE.
• SC licensure as LISW, LPC, or LMFT required or preferred.
• Minimum supervision and clinical standards adherence.

Responsibilities

• Interviews individuals and families to assess diagnosis, coping strategies, and mental status.
• Develop and discuss treatment plans with clients and document progress.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure client outcomes.
• Conduct community planning and evaluation related to social functioning.
