Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or regionally accredited institution.
• Current licensure by the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners or the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors is required.
• Previous LISW/LPC/LMFT experience in outpatient therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• 50%: Provides individual and group therapy to adult patients in an outpatient psychiatry clinic within an academic medical center.
• 35%: Interviews clients, families and other providers to assess functioning, strengths, deficits and emotional status.
• 5%: Serves on the treatment team for diagnostic evaluation and objective setting.
• 10%: Completes all required administrative duties.
