Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston seeks a licensed therapist (LISW, LPC, or LMFT) for outpatient services in the Addiction Sciences Division. The role provides individual and group therapy to adults with addiction-related and co-occurring psychiatric illnesses within a collaborative team.

The position requires a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy and full licensure.

Formación

• Requires a Master’s degree in a social work or social welfare program accredited by the CSWE or equivalent.
• Licensure as LISW, LPC or LMFT is required.
• 35% clinical interview, assessment and treatment planning responsibilities.

Responsabilidades

• Interview clients and families to assess diagnoses and mental status; develop and discuss treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure adherence to agency procedures and clinical standards for case management and discharge planning.
• Coordinate services with internal and external resources to optimize client outcomes.
