Job summary

Goodwill of the Great Plains is seeking an Outlet Team Leader to assist in outlet operations and cover in the absence of management. Responsibilities include opening/closing, handling paperwork, and correcting register errors, with emphasis on exceptional customer service.

The role requires at least two years of retail experience and the ability to train staff, count cash, and operate a forklift as needed. This is a full-time, in-store position in Sioux City, IA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• At least two years of prior retail sales experience, with opening/closing responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the outlet, ensure the store is open during posted hours, lock doors, and complete paperwork accurately.
• May act as shift supervisor in the absence of outlet management.
• Oversee outlet operations in absence of manager and report issues to supervisory staff.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Be first point of contact for customer complaints in the absence of management.
• May correct EBT errors as needed.
• Train and evaluate outlet team members.
• Count down cash drawers.
• Drive forklift to fill the store with product when needed.
• Move salvage boxes/crates to warehouse and follow outlet procedures for sales floor cashiering and merchandising.
