Job summary

tag Outlet Store in Chicago seeks an experienced Outlet Store Manager to lead daily operations, optimize inventory, and drive a positive brand experience. You will supervise staff, manage pricing/markdowns, and partner with Purchasing to move aged inventory, while owning Shopify POS and local community outreach.

The role emphasizes driving store performance, inventory recovery, and two annual Tent Sales in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail store management or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing inventory, pricing, and promotions.
• Strong retail economics and inventory productivity understanding.
• Shopify POS experience preferred.
• Experience supervising hourly/temporary staff.
• Analytical/problem-solving using sales and inventory data.
• MS Office/Excel proficiency.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Customer-service oriented and brand representation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Outlet Store.
• Provide a welcoming, brand-aligned shopping experience.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and cash controls.
• Maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing store.
• Present merchandise per brand standards.
• Adjust staffing based on business needs.
• Collaborate with Purchasing & Inventory on aged inventory.
• Lead Shopify POS administration and reporting.
• Engage with the Chicago community and plan events.
