Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is hiring an Outlet Manager for the Bannister location. You will oversee daily store operations, staffing, budgeting, and customer service to ensure goals are met while upholding safety and ethical standards.

You will lead a team, train staff, manage schedules, and use inventory systems to optimize performance. The role includes achieving donor/shopping satisfaction and representing the organization’s mission in practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Three years of Retail, Warehouse, or Logistics Management experience.
• Valid MO or IL driver’s license and insurance required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lead, set goals, and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, resources, and budgets to meet goals.
• Model values and foster safety, ethics, and quality in-store culture.
• Supervise and train staff; ensure tasks are performed.
• Provide superior customer service to sustain donors and shoppers.
• Coach employees and handle performance, including disciplinary actions.
• Assign daily duties to achieve operations and identify top performers.
• Protect company property and report incidents to management.
• Read and enforce all agency policies and values.
• Plan staffing, arrange replacements, and approve payroll.
• Eliminate waste through process improvements.
