Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co in Arlington, TX seeks a hands-on Food & Beverage professional to assist the Director of Food and Beverage in planning and coordinating all outlets. You will help manage staff, control costs, and ensure a high-quality guest dining experience.

The role requires two years of management experience in hotel or quality food service, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays and strong leadership and communication skills to motivate teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Hospitality or Food Service management.
• Two years of management experience in hotel or quality food service operation.
• Certification as Food Service Manager or ability to obtain such certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all outlet activities.
• Maintain outlet staffing levels and ensure cost-effective operation.
• Supervise service quality and inventory control to meet guest expectations.
• Communicate with Executive/Sous Chef regarding reservations, large parties or VIPs.
• Provide coaching, training and performance feedback to outlet staff.
