ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner to support vegetation management activities in outdoor field settings. The role emphasizes safety, field operations planning, and collaboration with crews, auditors, clients, and the public.

The planner will identify hazards, plan work for herbicide and substation grounds, and document vegetation data using tablets and specialized software. Applicants should be able to hike long distances, drive for extended periods, and adapt to varying weather and

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and hazard assessment.
• Ability to hike and drive for extended periods.
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and incidents.
• Plan work for contracted herbicide crews and coordinate with vendors.
• Drive to sites, hike rights-of-way, and record vegetation data.
• Address customer concerns and maintain positive public relations.
