Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner to support vegetation management operations outdoors. You will drive to sites, inspect vegetation, document data, and ensure safety standards are followed while engaging with clients and leadership.

The role requires field mobility, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in varied weather and terrain. This position offers training opportunities, company vehicle use, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Knowledgable in tree species identification and hazard assessments.
• Able to hike/visit ROWs and drive long periods outdoors.
• Familiar with Utility Vegetation Management practices.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office on field data entry.
• Must work independently in varying weather and terrain.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and incidents.
• Follow safety standards for driving, wildfire and injury prevention.
• Safely drive to sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect and document vegetation work and data on tablets.
• Enter data in forestry computer systems and track work.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain professionalism.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties.
