Job summary

ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a proactive Work Planner to join our outdoor vegetation management team. You will identify hazards, document field conditions, and help drive safe, efficient work across right-of-way sites while engaging with clients and leadership.

The ideal candidate enjoys independent work, can hike up to 10 miles daily, and uses GIS and Microsoft Suite on a tablet. ISA certification is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard assessment and growth patterns.
• Ability to hike/ walk right-of-ways and drive for extended periods.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with public.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Inspect and document vegetation work and data in field using tablets and software.
• Record vegetation data and use GIS for data entry and tracking.
• Communicate effectively with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, landowners, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
