ArborMetrics (AMS) is seeking a Work Planner to join the field team. This role involves outdoor vegetation management, driving to sites, and documenting vegetation work with tablets and GIS tools.

The ideal candidate works well independently, communicates effectively, and supports safety and compliance in every task. The position offers a company vehicle, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing training to advance industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification and growth patterns.
• Hazard tree assessment and invasive species management.
• Ability to hike/drive for extended periods outdoors.
• Experience with GIS and Microsoft Office tools.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a field environment.

Responsabilités

• Identify and report safety hazards and incidents.
• Follow safety standards including safe driving and wildfire prevention.
• Promote AMS values through daily actions.
• Drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way up to 10 miles/day.
• Inspect vegetation work and document properties.
• Record vegetation data using tablets and software.
• Use forestry computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Address customer concerns promptly and maintain positive relations.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
