Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a dependable Yard Staff member for our IAA facility in Lafayette, LA. You will be at the frontline of the auction process, ensuring safety and efficiency while handling vehicles outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities include vehicle check-in, thorough detailing, and safe operation of yard equipment; training in forklift and loader operation will be provided. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required, with teamwork and a positive customer focus

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle.
Bright, upbeat demeanor and ability to interact positively with customers are essential.
Experience with cars or general mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Check-in vehicles by recording and filing information for the facility.
Detail vehicles to improve appearance and value at auction.
Operate passenger vehicles safely within the facility and during drive-through auctions.
Recover keys, license plates, and other items and store them properly.
Assist visitors and guide them to the appropriate person for help.
Receive on-the-job training in forklift and loader operation.
