Job summary

RB Global, Inc. is seeking Yard Staff to join our IAA yard operations team in the Lafayette area. You will work outdoors and focus on safety, detail, and efficiency as the frontline of IAA in a fast-paced auction environment.

You will learn to use technology, support hundreds of live auctions, perform vehicle check-ins, detail vehicles, move them around the yard, recover keys, and assist visitors. Training includes forklift and loader operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Must be safety conscious and team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information for vehicles at the facility.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance and value at auction.
• Safely operate passenger vehicles to move them around the facility or participate in drive-through auctions.
• Recover keys, license plates, and other items and store them properly.
• Assist visitors and direct them to the appropriate staff member for help.
• Receive training on forklift and loader operation on the job.
