Job summary

IAA, an RB Global, Inc. company, seeks a Yard Staff member to support vehicle check-in, detailing, and movement around the facility. You’ll work outdoors in all weather, prioritizing safety while learning new technology and participating in auctions.

The role rewards a positive, can-do attitude, basic mechanical knowledge, and teamwork. A valid driver's license is required; experience in automotive or rental fields is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read physical demands; not a desk job.
• Upbeat demeanor and passion for cars; teamwork is crucial.
• Valid driver's license and eligible to operate a motor vehicle.
• Automotive repair or rental/construction experience is a plus.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 20–100 lbs and outdoor work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Check-in vehicles and record information for the facility.
• Detail vehicles to improve appearance and auction value.
• Operate passenger vehicles safely around the facility and in drive-through auctions.
• Recover keys, plates, and other items and store them properly.
• Assist visitors with guidance and route them to the right contact.
• Train and develop on the job in forklift and loader operation.
