Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and basic automotive knowledge. Experience in rental or construction is a plus, with opportunities to learn forklift and loader operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• There are physical demands and this is not a desk job.
• An upbeat demeanor to ensure positive customer interactions is a must.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle.
• Experience in basic automotive repair or in rental/construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle check-in by recording and filing information for vehicles assigned to the facility.
• Detail and thoroughly clean vehicles to enhance their appearance and value at auction.
• Operate passenger vehicles safely to move them around the facility or participate in drive-through auctions.
• Recover keys, license plates, and related information from vehicles and store properly.
• Assist visitors by providing guidance and directing them to the appropriate contact.
• Train on forklift and loader operation as part of on-the-job development.
