Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking an outdoors-driven Utility Forester to patrol energy corridors, assess vegetation, and apply ISA pruning standards. You will engage with landowners, document findings, and support sustainable vegetation management.

Ideal candidates have forestry education or equivalent experience, GIS and MS Office skills, and the ability to work alone in varied weather conditions. Training and certification support are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with GIS software/technology and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn new computer programs and apps.
• Education in forestry or natural resources preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Safely patrol energy corridors on foot and identify vegetation tasks per standards.
• Classify work and determine pruning, removal, or protection actions.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per directives.
