Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. seeks a Tractor Technician to perform basic maintenance, service, and repair of tractors and equipment under close supervision.

You will ensure units meet company specifications and complete work orders, with potential outdoor work and varying shifts including nights and weekends. Applicants should have at least 1 year of Semi-Tractor maintenance experience or equivalent training. Full-time attendance is required and relocation aid may be offered within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Semi-Tractor maintenance and repair or equivalent training/experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate foundational technical knowledge of preventative maintenance, replacement of parts/components, and basic repairs on tractors and related systems.
• Work independently and seek assistance as needed
• Follow all shop safety procedures
• Maintain professional communication with JB Hunt personnel and customers
• Accurately perform basic repairs to company specifications and complete work orders.
