Job summary

Arc’teryx Equipment in New York seeks a Store Manager to lead a team delivering best-in-class guest experiences, drive store operations, and develop its people and communities. You will manage all aspects of the floor, inventory, and profitability while championing the Arc’teryx Guest Journey and five pillars of the business.

You’ll recruit, train, and retain top talent, maintaining a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership & retail management experience.
• Dynamic leadership with ability to recruit, hire, and develop leaders.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with drive for results.
• Passion for service and guest experience.
• Proven financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, gross margin, expenses.
• Ability to set a clear vision and align team around goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team aligned with Arc’teryx Vision, Purpose and Values.
• Oversee floor operations and the five pillars: experience, product, community, operations and people.
• Coach and train a high-performing team via Arc’teryx Guest Journey.
• Lead from the floor 80% of the week to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage onboarding through offboarding and overall employee experience.
• Drive profitability through sales targets, labor planning and controllable expenses.
• Own product/inventory management, visual merchandising, and sell-through.
• Plan store budget and labor hours with accountability for results.
• Lead weekly leadership meetings covering People, Product, Community, Operation and Finance.
