Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is hiring a Landscaper I to support maintenance across various properties. The role involves performing basic landscaping tasks under supervision, operating commercial-grade equipment, and assisting with plant material upkeep.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 40 lbs, and hold a valid driver's license if operating BrightView fleet vehicles. Long hours and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Familiar with landscaping equipment including mowers and trimmers.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Experience with basic horticultural maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge; operate gas-powered blower.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to shape growth or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger/line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Dispose of leaves, mulch, and debris from landscape.
