Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance support for a variety of properties. The role involves performing basic tasks under supervision, operating commercial-grade equipment, and assisting with plant material upkeep.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, enthusiastic, dependable, and able to lift 40 lbs. Certification on level 1 equipment is required, and flexible hours including weekends may be needed to address seasonal work. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and operate landscaping equipment safely.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers and trim edges.
• Prune shrubs and low trees as needed.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
